Visual Arts at the Renaissance Center

Visual Arts at the Renaissance Center
The Renaissance Center's Visual Arts department is committed to artistic development, aesthetic appreciation and cultural understanding. We provide an educational resource for our community through course selections, gallery exhibitions and artist workshops.
Our Visual Arts programs are funded in part with grants through the Tennessee Arts Commission! Thank you TAC!
Studio Arts
The Renaissance Center's Art Studio offers a wide selection of classes and workshops for kids and adults, beginners and practiced artists alike.
Galleries
The Renaissance Center displays several art shows each year, typically rotating every month or so. The opening receptions for these art shows are free and open to the public. There's no dress code, and hors d'oevres are free! To add to the fun, the receptions usually coincide with our music series "Jazz in the Rotunda" on the first Friday of each month!
Field Trips
Art Workshops for Field Trips and Groups are available for students of all ages. Please contact Laura Jackson at (615) 740-5533, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for more information.
