From birth to about seven years of age, all children have a natural attraction to music and movement. Research indicates that this is a critical time for the development of the child's innate musical capacity. Providing a nurturing musical environment is one of the greatest gifts parents can give to their children. . In addition to promoting musical skills, research has shown that early music training nurtures cognitive, emotional, social, language, and physical development!

The Kindermusik Curriculum Series is a unique program of music learning and enjoyment for children birth to six years of age. The educators of this curriculum understand that every child is musical and that the parent is the child's most important teacher.  Kindermusik participation fosters developmental skills in language, literacy, listening, problem solving, social skills, self-esteem, and musicality. The Kindermusik Series is non-sequential meaning that your child can begin at any time at any of the three levels without missing crucial information. However, former students can continue in the same class and experience new challenges without repeating material.

"The Kindermusik Program is one of our most successful programs here at The Renaissance Center, " states Kelli Workman, Director of Music. "These students often continue on with our private lesson programs. And many of their siblings take art and dance classes here too, so The Renaissance Center has become a great arts resource for the whole family!"
