Study Guide for Life is So Good (Mike Wiley Productions)
Life Is So Good
May 2 - 24
The original book, Life Is So Good, and its subject George Dawson were featured on Oprah's “Use Your Life Awards”.
Although he did not learn to read or write until the age of 98, Dawson's inspirational life offers valuable lessons in living for everyone, as well as a firsthand view of America during the twentieth century. Dawson shares his insights into humanity, history, hardships, and happiness. From segregation and civil rights, to the wars, presidents, and defining moments in history, George Dawson managed to find the secret of a long and happy life in a simple philosophy: "Life is so good. I do believe it's getting better!"

It is for sale but there are no takers for the only eatery in the depressed town, so newcomer Percy suggests to Hannah that she raffle it off. Entry fees are one hundred dollars and the best essay on why you want the grill wins. Soon, mail is arriving by the wheelbarrow full and things are definitely cookin' at the Spitfire Grill. Infectious melodies full of warmth, spirit and goodwill provide soul satisfying nourishment.

A Christmas Carol: A Traveling Travesty in Two Tumultuous Acts!
November 14-December 14 (No shows the week of Thanksgiving)
From the author of the popular Faith County comes a completely different adaptation of the holiday classic, A Christmas Carol. From the bonny shores of England comes a stuffy old travelling troupe embarking on their fifteenth annual farewell tour of the Dickens' tale. The company diva pretends to be ill, certain the production will be cancelled. However, much to her shock and rage, the show does go on without her! Roles are shuffled at the last minute and the understudy finds herself center stage. Mayhem ensues as this professional company scrambles to keep the show going and everything that could possibly go wrong does…to hilarious, ridiculous results!
